Full Time, 52 weeks per year. Denstone College wish to provide an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Person to join our friendly and supportive grounds team. You will be responsible for the care and maintenance of the grounds around the site, as instructed by the Grounds Manager. The role will be predominantly Monday to Friday with the exception of occasional events. If you would like the prospect of working in a varied role and have experience of grounds work, we would like to hear from you!
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience as a Grounds Person or similar role
- Experience in grounds equipment maintenance and repair or willing to learn
- Spraying licenses and relevant grounds qualifications are desirable
- Ability to work outdoors in all weathers
- Ability to understand Health and Safety processes and following risk assessments
- Ability to work on own initiative within given guidelines
- Ability to work as part of a team
