Job Role: A Quality Viewer's job is to inspect products and materials for defects, ensuring they meet company and industry standards by performing visual checks and tests. Key duties include meticulously documenting faults, maintaining testing equipment, and communicating any issues or potential improvements to the quality assurance team. The goal is to prevent substandard products from reaching customers and to contribute to the overall quality of the manufacturing process. The overall job function is to ensure that all products manufactured by Denroy meet customer expectations for quality and delivery, and that the quality department consistently maintains KPIs. This should be achieved while demonstrating commitment to Denroy Group Values of: Leadership, dependability, relationships, respect, teamwork and innovation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Questioning the nature of defects while providing future solutions.
  • Alerting the Quality Assurance department of ongoing problems and delivering resolutions.
  • Inspecting purchased products to ensure consistency and integrity.
  • Filling out and maintaining relevant paperwork.
  • Complying with applicable customer standards, internal procedures and regulatory requirements that apply to the finished product.
  • Comparing finished products to Master samples.

Principal Duties:

  • Patrol Inspection of all Production Departments to identify and rectify quality problems.
  • Startup approval of moulding, printing, labelling and bristling machines etc.
  • Inspection of components in accordance with SOP/WI.
  • Maintain Last Off and master Samples.
  • Final Inspection and release of Finished Goods.
  • Maintain records for Patrol and other inspections.
  • Goods Inward Inspection and release of materials.
  • Complete route cards and ensure manufacturing information is correct.
  • Participate in daily TEAM Meetings.
  • Other tasks as required.
  • Use shop floor data collection system.

Expected education: 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Mathematics and English (or equivalent).

Essential Criteria:

  • Quality department experience.
  • ISO 9001 / AS 9100 experience.
  • Injection Moulding experience.
