In this role, you will identify new business opportunities in the UK and other assigned territories in NEMEA by engaging potential customers, including C-Level executives. You will manage and qualify inbound and outbound leads, contribute to pipeline development and actively support marketing events, both online and in person.

Job Responsibilities & Duties
As a Business Development Representative, you will successfully employ a combination of excellent communication skills and technical knowledge to engage with potential customers. Main responsibilities for this position are:
- Outreach to people via phone and e-mail.
- Uncover & qualify prospective customer needs, understand business processes, identify opportunities, understand requirements, and ascertain potential areas for Denodo to add value.
- Researching target companies and key decision makers to identify their business challenges and need for Denodo solutions.
- Effectively introduce and represent the Denodo product.
- Write compelling emails and tell engaging stories that leave prospective customers wanting to learn more about the value our product delivers.
- Scheduling opportunities to engage with prospects and members of the Denodo sales team.
- Collaborating with sales and marketing to continuously improve our lead generation and follow up process.
- Ability and capacity to qualify the account for short- and medium-term opportunities.
- Accurately update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software with customer data.

Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- A results-oriented mindset.
- Min. 4+ years experience in telemarketing, customer service, inside sales, business development or sales development with enterprise software or high-tech products and services.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Superior outbound calling, prospecting and lead generation skills.
- Strong ability to explain concepts and superior listening, phone and written communication skills.
- Good foundation to understand and learn IT technologies and enterprise information infrastructure.
- Ability to quickly understand and carry out oral and written directions.
- Ability to be tactful and a good listener. Respect for discretion and confidentiality.
- Organised, disciplined, and efficient.
- Ability to work independently and multi-tasker.
- Experience working with CRM systems, as well as good computer skills.
