The role will be in the UK and Europe, and you will be required to night out when necessary. You will be responsible for driving the vehicle and crew to the designated address, and supporting the Crew with removals duties, including packing, loading and unloading the vehicle.
You will need to be physically fit in order to pack, carry, load/unload the vehicle and dismantle/reassemble furniture. You must be willing to work unsocial hours at times, including some nights away. You need to hold a valid passport as some of our moves include a collection/delivery in mainland Europe.
You are required to behave in a polite and professional manner at all times in this customer-facing role and should have strong communication skills to talk with your customers and colleagues. It is essential that you are reliable, flexible and punctual as move day schedules are vital and can be stressful for the customer.
Ensure all removals paperwork is completed correctly and submitted in a timely manner. Maintain regular communication with the Office. Wear company uniform at all times and PPE when collecting or delivering to customers and other sites.
You will need your own transport as you will be departing from/returning to the local depot. Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with delivery or removals background. Valid HGV licence (Category C+E) is essential. Familiarity with driving regulations and safety standards for large goods vehicles. Previous experience in delivery driving or logistics is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple deliveries.
