Gurney Reeve & Co Ltd, Suton, Wymondham, have a vacancy within our Stores/Parts department. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Parts supervisor to join our busy and expanding parts department. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced agricultural, horticultural, construction and manufacturing environment, supporting a trade counter, phone calls, stock management, and goods inwards.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervising the daily operation of the parts department
  • Serving customers and manufacturing staff at the trade counter
  • Managing goods in-wards, checking deliveries, booking stock, packing, and arranging shipment of parts and machines
  • Liaising with parts manager regarding orders, returns, and shortages
  • Ensuring clean, safe, and efficient stores environment
  • Supporting the team to deliver excellent service

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a parts department or supervisory role
  • Agricultural or Construction or Horticultural machinery background preferred
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Good IT and stock knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Forklift licence beneficial but not essential
