Role: Yard Operative
Location: Worksop, S80 3AT
Hours: 40 hours per week | between 06:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday
Hourly Rate: Up to £15.85 ph DOE
Are you a hands-on, hardworking individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a
Yard Operative to support the smooth running of a busy stores and production operation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering parts and materials to production areas
- Unloading deliveries and storing stock safely
- Maintaining cleanliness across the yard, stores and site
- Emptying production bins and supporting waste management activities
- Assisting with vehicle movements around site following training
- Ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently
What We're Looking For
- Forklift truck licence/experience, including B2 category
- Previous experience in a manufacturing stores, goods-in or dispatch environment
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices
- Excellent attention to detail
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work to deadlines in a physically demanding role
