We’re looking for an experienced Contract Manager to lead the delivery of a key fleet maintenance contract in Somerset. This is an opportunity to take ownership of operational performance, customer relationships, compliance, and team leadership within a well-established and growing business.
What you’ll be doing
- You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the contract, ensuring vehicles are maintained safely, efficiently, and in line with customer expectations and contractual requirements.
- Leading and supporting a workshop-based team to deliver outstanding service.
- Driving vehicle availability, servicing, MOT compliance, and operational performance.
- Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Managing employee wellbeing, absence, training, and performance.
- Ensuring high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Monitoring costs, work in progress, parts inventory, and contract performance metrics.
