Role: Maintenance Manager

Location: Worksop, S80 3AT

Hours: 40 hours per week | between 08:30 and 17:00 Monday to Friday

Salary: between £40,000 and £48,000 pa DOE

Are you experienced in keeping facilities, equipment and essential services running safely and efficiently? We’re looking for a Maintenance Manager to support the day-to-day operation of our Worksop manufacturing site. You’ll coordinate planned maintenance, manage contractors and carry out practical repairs, helping to maintain a safe, reliable and well‑organised working environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coordinating planned preventative maintenance for site equipment and infrastructure
  • Completing minor repairs and arranging tools, equipment or specialist support
  • Managing maintenance requests from initial report through to completion
  • Organising contractors and ensuring work meets site safety requirements
  • Maintaining production tooling and equipment
  • Supporting compliance with fire, electrical, gas and water hygiene requirements
  • Coordinating services including lighting, heating, ventilation, waste and security
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on maintenance costs and performance
  • Identifying practical ways to improve site reliability, safety and efficiency

What You'll Bring

  • Experience within a facilities, maintenance or operational environment
  • Experience working within manufacturing or an industrial setting
  • Knowledge of plant and equipment maintenance
  • Experience coordinating maintenance activities and external contractors
  • A practical trade background, such as electrical work, plumbing or carpentry
  • Understanding of building, mechanical and electrical systems
  • Knowledge of maintenance planning and health and safety requirements
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and respond to urgent issues
  • A relevant qualification in facilities management, engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • IPAF certification for mobile elevating work platforms

Experience using maintenance management software, tracking budgets or working with compliance requirements would be an advantage.
