This role blends hands-on sourcing with smooth process coordination - owning vacancies end-to-end for defined business areas, championing an outstanding candidate and hiring-manager experience, and keeping our data and ATS in excellent order.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for allocated business areas - draft and post adverts, screen and shortlist candidates, coordinate interviews, gather and share feedback, and progress offers.
- Proactively source and pipeline candidates using job boards, social channels, networks, and searches; maintain talent pools for near-term and future needs.

- Own candidate communications throughout the process - clear, timely updates and a positive experience from first contact to offer.
- Maintain the ATS and HR trackers with complete, accurate records; ensuring compliance with internal policies, recruitment best practice, and GDPR (including candidate privacy notice and data-retention standards).
- Prepare contracts and onboarding handovers, support HR inductions for new starters.
- Liaise with hiring managers to clarify requirements and advise on inclusive selection processes.
- In conjunction with the other Recruitment Officer, coordinate work-experience requests and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that reduce time-to-fill and elevate quality.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in an administrative / coordination role or internal recruitment support (ATS experience is a bonus).
- Confident handling spreadsheets, databases, ATS and diary systems with precision (Excel and Outlook).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information discreetly (GDPR-aware).
- Strong communicator with a calm, customer-focused approach; builds positive relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
- Resilient and adaptable, able to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Desirable: experience sourcing candidates and familiarity with production/HGV service or similar environments; GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
