Hours: 37 hours per week | between 08:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 13:00 Friday

Are you a detail‑driven engineer with a passion for wiring systems, electrical integration and vehicle innovation? We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative harness design engineer to join our Engineering team in Warwick! This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking harness designs from concept to production, working closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality electrical and HV/LV harness systems for our specialist vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Design and detail low‑ and high‑voltage wiring harnesses for heavy trucks
- Collaborate with 3D design engineers and systems teams to ensure seamless packaging and integration
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to secure installation and application approvals
- Compile engineering master parts lists (BOMs) and design release documentation
- Support product testing activities and analyse test results
- Contribute to problem‑solving and continuous improvement initiatives
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Software Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in a relevant engineering environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems (EDS) and harness design (2D as a minimum; 3D beneficial)
- Familiarity with ISO standards for EDS and associated quality requirements
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Proficient in structured problem‑solving techniques such as 8D and A3
- Experience with truck or chassis systems, and liaising with suppliers
- Knowledge of Zuken E3, VeSys, schematic design, or 3D harness routing is a bonus
