Our CAB manufacturing facility in Blackpool plays a critical role in producing high-quality vehicle cabs that form the heart of our products, and we’re looking for a
Production Engineer to help drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.
As a Production Engineer, you’ll act as the link between Engineering and Production, identifying opportunities to improve processes, introduce new technologies and support the successful delivery of new products.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and eliminating production bottlenecks.
- Supporting new product introduction, prototype builds and process improvements.
- Introducing technologies and manufacturing methods that improve quality, efficiency and safety.
- Driving continuous improvement and value engineering initiatives.
- Creating and maintaining build instructions, process documentation and manufacturing data.
- Working closely with Production, Engineering and other departments to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve performance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience within a manufacturing or production engineering environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
- Experience supporting new product or process introduction.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a collaborative approach.
- HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- CAD experience, such as Solid Edge or similar software.
