Are you skilled in creating and updating technical manuals and documentation? We are looking for a Technical Author/Technical Compliance Engineer to join our engineering team at Terberg Matec Worksop. You will be responsible for producing operation and maintenance manuals for refuse and recycling vehicles, ensuring compliance with CE/UKCA marking and the Machinery Directive. Your role will also involve compiling Technical Construction Files and ensuring all documentation meets necessary standards and legislation.
Ideal candidates will have experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and be familiar with the Machinery Directive. If you have a background in the waste, refuse, and recycling industries or similar fields, and are passionate about maintaining high standards of quality and compliance, we want to hear from you!
Qualifications that set you apart include:
- Able to write technical operation and maintenance manuals for the production of refuse and recycling vehicles or similar machinery
- Previous experience revising and creating technical documents suitable for use by Engineering, Production and Training departments
- Understanding of ISO9001 quality systems
