Responsibilities
- Receiving orders via telephone, email and other channels.
- Booking parts out of stock and preparing delivery notes.
- Picking parts, packaging them securely, and preparing address labels for couriers.
- Goods in/out, receiving incoming spare parts into stock and locating them.
- Booking warranty, returning spare parts and locating them in quarantine area.
- Loading and unloading spare parts and equipment from delivery vehicles.
- Assisting customers and internal staff with identification of spare parts.
- Creating quotations for customers.
- Assisting customers with queries related to departmental issues, such as late deliveries or incorrect parts.
- Updating customers with estimated times of arrival and conducting risk assessments within the working environment.
- Applying safe working practices in line with health and safety legislation and company policy.
- Receiving products in line with organisational procedures.
- Storing, picking, dispatching and decanting/packing products in line with organisational procedures.
- Communicating verbally and in writing with internal and external customers, colleagues and managers.
