Truck Driver – Pontefract. 4O4O Shift Pattern.
We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Truck Driver specialising in temperature controlled distribution to join our team based in Pontefract on a 4O4O shift patten.
You’ll be responsible for safely transporting goods to customers and sites, completing deliveries on time and ensuring a professional service throughout.
Key responsibilities:
- Complete scheduled deliveries and collections safely and on time
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues
- Ensure loads are secure and documentation is completed correctly
- Follow road safety, company and transport regulations
- Maintain a professional and friendly approach with customers
- Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition
What we’re looking for:
- Valid UK driving licence with the required HGV entitlement
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous professional driving experience preferred
- Previous temperature controlled distribution experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of road safety and driving regulations
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable working independently
