Role: Outside Technical Sales Manager – South East UK

Type: Full-time, hybrid (2–3 nights away per week)

Reports to: Managing Director

Location: Field-based – covering everything east of the M1, M25 & M3 (HQ: Newport, Telford)

The Role

This is not a sit-back-and-wait sales job. This is about owning your patch, building relationships, and growing new and existing accounts with confidence. You’ll get full product training, an electric company car, and the freedom to manage your territory your way – backed by a supportive, close-knit UK team and the strength of a global leader. By year 3, we expect you to be delivering £1.5M+ in order income – but Year 1 is all about getting embedded, building relationships, and finding your flow.

Core Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth in the South East region through proactive business development and relationship management
  • Generate new opportunities and manage the full sales cycle – from first contact to close
  • Work closely with internal sales and technical colleagues to deliver great customer experiences
  • Advise customers on the best DENIOS solutions for hazardous materials storage, lithium battery safety, and compliance needs
  • Build long‑term partnerships with key accounts and distributors
  • Use CRM and SAP systems to track opportunities, produce accurate quotations, and manage the sales pipeline
  • Represent DENIOS at industry meetings, events, and occasional overseas training (Germany/France)

About You

  • We’re not looking for “just another salesperson.” We’re looking for energy, personality, and ambition.
  • 4+ years’ B2B external sales experience
  • Strong track record in lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals
  • Confident communicator, able to discuss technical details with decision-makers
  • IT‑savvy – comfortable with CRM, MS Office, and ideally SAP (or similar)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience selling technical or safety‑related products
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, pharma, chemical, food, oil & gas, or engineering sectors
  • Experience working with distributors and key accounts
