Denholm Industrial Services is expanding and is now recruiting for the following role:

Location: Portsmouth

Start Date: July (Depending on security clearance)

Rates of Pay / Allowances:

  • COTS: Standard £13.81, Overtime £17.95 + Tier 2 payment £0.50 per hour. Tier payment only applies to basic working hours.
  • Part 1: Standard £16.31, Overtime £21.20 + Tier 2 payment £0.50 per hour. Tier payment only applies to basic working hours.
  • Part 2: Standard £20.70, Overtime £26.91 + Tier 2 payment £0.50 per hour. Tier payment only applies to basic working hours.
  • Advanced Scaffolder: Standard £22.62, Overtime £29.40 + Tier 2 payment £0.50 per hour. Tier payment only applies to basic working hours.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Erect, alter, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with industry standards and project requirements.
  • Read and interpret scaffold design drawings, specifications, and method statements.
  • Ensure all scaffolding is installed safely, securely, and fit for purpose.
  • Work at height safely, following all relevant procedures and using appropriate fall protection equipment.

Qualifications Required:

  • COTS: Valid CISRS COTS Card.
  • Part 1: Valid CISRS Trainee Scaffolder.
  • Part 2: Valid CISRS Blue Card (Scaffolder) with NVQ Level 2.
  • Advanced: Valid CISRS Gold Card (Advanced Scaffolder) with NVQ Level 3.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Drug & alcohol screening.
  • Online company inductions.

Security Clearance:

Must be able to obtain security clearance which would include criminal record check, employment history verification.
