Overview
Denholm Industrial Services is currently recruiting Part 2 Scaffolders and Advanced Scaffolders for ongoing work on major marine and defence projects in Plymouth.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work with a leading industrial services provider, supporting high-profile projects within the defence sector.
We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious scaffolders who are committed to delivering work to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding safely and efficiently.
- Work in accordance with design drawings and site specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with current Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Carry out inspections of scaffolding where appropriate.
- Work effectively as part of a team to deliver projects safely and on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Attend daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inductions.
- Report any defects, hazards or safety concerns immediately.
What We're Looking For
- Part 2 Scaffolder
- CISRS Part 2 Scaffolder Card.
- BPSS Clearance or current SC Clearance.
- Experience working on industrial, marine or defence projects is desirable.
- Strong commitment to safe working practices.
- Reliable with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Advanced Scaffolder
- CISRS Advanced Scaffolder Card.
- BPSS Clearance or current SC Clearance.
- Experience on large industrial or marine projects.
- Ability to work independently and lead scaffold teams where required.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation.

- Part 2 Scaffolder
- Basic: £20.54 per hour
- Weekday OT1: £26.70 per hour
- Weekday OT2: £32.86 per hour
- Advanced Scaffolder
- Basic: £23.85 per hour
- Weekday OT1: £26.70 per hour
- Weekday OT2: £38.16 per hour
