We're Hiring | Industrial Painters | Plymouth

Denholm Industrial Services is recruiting experienced Industrial Painters to join our growing team in Plymouth.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on major marine and defence projects, carrying out protective coating works in a safety-critical environment while building a long-term career with a leading industrial services provider.

  • Key role and responsibilities for Industrial Painter
  • Carry out surface preparation and apply protective coatings using brush and roller in accordance with project specifications.
  • Ensure all painting activities are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with client requirements and coating specifications.
  • Follow all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) procedures, site rules and permit-to-work systems.
  • Maintain equipment, materials and work areas to a high standard of housekeeping.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and site teams to ensure project deadlines are achieved.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and report any defects or issues promptly.
  • Minimum requirements for Industrial Painter
  • Previous experience as an Industrial Painter within marine, defence, heavy industrial or infrastructure environments.
  • Train the Painter Bronze Card.
  • Experience applying protective coatings using brush and roller.
  • Good understanding of HSEQ procedures and quality standards.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Candidates must be eligible to obtain BPSS security clearance.

As a minimum, this includes providing a criminal record check, right to work documentation, three years' employment history and five years' address history.

Candidates must also be eligible to obtain SC Security Clearance.

  • Pay Rates
  • Basic: £17.00 per hour | Overtime 1: £22.10 per hour | Overtime 2: £27.20 per hour
  • Pay Type: PAYE
