Denholm Industrial Services are recruiting an experienced Plant Fitter to join our team in Govan, Glasgow, supporting the maintenance and safe operation of site plant and blasting/coating equipment in a fast-paced construction environment. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical expertise who takes pride in maintaining high safety and performance standards.
What You'll Be Doing
- Maintain and repair site plant and equipment
- Carry out preventative maintenance and PUWER inspections
- Ensure safe operation of blasting and coating equipment
- Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records
- Support commissioning of new equipment
- Assist with ISO and health & safety compliance
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Plant Fitter or Plant Mechanic
- Mechanical qualification or time-served apprenticeship
- Strong knowledge of heavy plant machinery
- Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Good understanding of health & safety standards
