Denholm Industrial Services is currently recruiting for an experienced Paint Inspector to join our team on a major industrial project in Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile project with a leading industrial services provider.

The initial duration is at least 6 weeks, with the potential to extend to 3 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect surface preparation activities including abrasive blasting, power tool cleaning and other preparation methods.
  • Carry out inspections of prepared substrates to ensure cleanliness, profile depth and compliance with project specifications.
  • Monitor coating application processes, ensuring correct materials, mixing ratios, application methods and dry film thickness requirements are achieved.
  • Review coating systems, technical data sheets and project specifications to ensure compliance.
  • Complete accurate inspection reports, quality records and project documentation.
  • Liaise with site teams to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project.

What We're Looking For

  • NACE or ICorr Paint Inspection Qualification (Essential)
  • Valid CSCS Card (Essential)
  • Safety Critical Medical (Advantageous)
  • Previous experience working as a Paint Inspector on industrial, marine or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of protective coatings, inspection techniques and quality standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

  • £50 per night accommodation allowance
  • Mileage allowance from your home address to site (subject to travel distance)

  • Monday to Friday - 8 hours per day

Successful applicants will be required to complete
