Denholm Bakers, a family-run business with over a century of tradition, is looking for a skilled Baker to join our team in Wishaw. Our company is known for its high-quality, handcrafted baked goods and is seeking a reliable individual to contribute to our legacy. You will be responsible for producing a wide range of bakery products from scratch, maintaining our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Your duties will include:

  • Handcrafting a variety of baked goods, including all types of pastry.
  • Piping and decorating cakes.
  • Working from traditional, scratch recipes.
  • Be experienced at using hot plate.
  • Performing stock rotation and checking stores.
  • Assisting with other bakery tasks as needed.
  • This role will include day shift & night shift.

Requirements:

  • A dedicated and hardworking individual.
  • Experience working with different types of pastries and decorating cakes.
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain high standards.
  • Reliable with excellent time-keeping skills, especially for early morning starts.
  • A team player who can collaborate with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work early morning shifts, including Saturdays.
