Denholm is delighted to be partnering with one of Scotland's newest scotch malt whisky producers, a contemporary distillery in the Scottish highlands to hire a Head of Private Client/Cask Sales Manager. The spirit is overseen by an internationally renowned Master Distiller with experience with Glenmorangie, Ardbeg, Tobermory, Deanston and Bunnahabhain.
A private cask acquired directly from the distillery itself comes with full owner certification and seven years of warehousing and insurance. Whilst other distilleries are selling casks in almost unlimited numbers, the distillery will keep most of its new make spirit for its future bottlings, selling less than 200 casks in each of its first three years only.
Ownership brings more than just a cask. Buyers join the company Comunn, the distillery's Cask Owners Club, with benefits including free tours for life, a personalised membership box, new make spirit sample, and exclusive bottlings.
Working remotely/from home - with occasional distillery visits - the Head of Private Client/Cask Sales Manager is responsible for executing business strategy and delivering the private client and private cask sales & revenues for the business across all global markets; targeting sales with high-net-worth individuals, whisky aficionados and other interested parties.
To be considered, you will have a proven track record of working within premium/luxury business development functions (whisky/wines/spirits), with a focus on private clients/private casks. You will have demonstrated evidence of identifying and winning new clients and of developing and growing long-term commercial relationships.
In return for your talents, you'll receive a salary, bonus, car allowance & private benefits.
