Denholm are delighted to be engaged as retained partner with AG Barr on an excellent opportunity for a Infrastructure Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to work for one of Scotland\’s most iconic brands.This role is being offered on a hybrid working basis (3 days onsite) in Cumbernauld.The technology team seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support diverse business technologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cloud Infrastructure, Data Centre operations, Networking, Enterprise Backup solutions and ideally knowledge of Cyber Security and Disaster Recovery principles.This role will ensure robust, secure, and efficient IT infrastructure and Cloud environment operations, driving business alignment through strategic partnerships, advanced system management, and proactive problem-solving.Responsibilities Proactively identify and implement improvements in service, resilience, functionality, and value of the IT infrastructure through new technologies, particularly Cloud services and automation while also providing expert Infrastructure support and advice to both the IT team and the wider business.Lead the development and maturity of our Cloud Infrastructure, with a focus on Chrome and Google Cloud Platform.Act as a Google Workspace Super Admin, handling configuration, security, and optimization of the organization\’s Google domain.Manage upgrades, patches, and end-of-life risks to IT Infrastructure.Maintain and improve backup procedures for optimal effectiveness.Monitor and enhance hardware and software platform performance.Maintain, test, and ensure the IT Disaster Recovery Plan is fit for purpose.Provide 2nd/3rd line technical support and advice escalated from the Service Desk.Manage the installation of physical devices and cabling in the manufacturing (OT) environment and data centre(s).Contribute to new IT standards, policies, procedures, training, and communication plans.If you are interested in discussing this role please get in touch as soon as possible.Seniority level AssociateEmployment type Full-timeJob function Information TechnologyIndustries Food and Beverage Manufacturing
