Paid Performance Marketing Manager in Glasgow

We\’re working exclusively with Golden Charter, one of the UK\’s most established and trusted funeral plan providers, to recruit a talented Paid Performance Marketing Manager / Senior Executive to join their growing in-house marketing team.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting role for a commercially minded paid media specialist who thrives in data‑driven environments. You\’ll take ownership of paid search and paid social activity across Google, Microsoft and Meta, and you\’ll play a central role in optimising a 7‑figure annual advertising budget.

As Golden Charter continues to evolve its digital strategy, you\’ll help drive performance, test new approaches, and shape how the business connects with customers online. You\’ll work collaboratively with retained media agencies while being the internal go‑to for paid performance insights.

Golden Charter operate a hybrid model, with the marketing team coming together weekly in their Glasgow office to collaborate, strategise and stay connected.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and optimise PPC campaigns across Google and Microsoft

• Manage paid social activity across Meta platforms

• Closely collaborate with retained agencies to drive best‑in‑class performance

• Analyse data, reporting on insights and identifying opportunities for growth

• Test, measure, and refine approaches to maximise ROI

• Manage and track budgets against performance

• Support wider integrated marketing campaigns

What You\’ll Bring

• Hands‑on experience managing Google, Microsoft and Meta campaigns

• A strong understanding of paid search and paid social best practice

• Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools (GA4, Tableau, Hotjar)

• Strong Excel/Sheets skills for campaign analysis

• Experience working with agencies and cross‑functional teams

• A curious, proactive mindset and passion for continuous improvement
