We’re looking for a Finance Assistant to provide accurate, efficient support across our finance and office operations, helping to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. This is a part-time opportunity (approx 25 hours per week) and will be based in our Edinburgh Hub. Flexible working and hybrid arrangements can be discussed.

You’ll need:

  • Previous experience in a finance and/or administrative role
  • A solid understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Xero or Sage (desirable)

In this role, you will:

  • Process purchase invoices and raise sales invoices accurately and on time
  • Support credit control
  • Provide cover for the Finance Manager when required
  • Manage incoming calls and company correspondence
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including consultants and suppliers
  • Monitor shared inboxes and support general office administration
