Orbit Communications are looking for an Account Director or Senior Account Manager to join their Edinburgh team and play a central role across client leadership, team management and business growth. This is a hands-on senior role within one of Scotland’s best-established communications agencies, working across PR, public affairs, stakeholder engagement and integrated communications campaigns.

How you’ll make your mark:
- Manage client relationships and develop strategic account plans
- Deliver high-quality PR, public affairs and stakeholder engagement campaigns
- Provide strategic communications advice and day-to-day client support
- Coordinate internal team delivery to ensure work is completed on time and within budget
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, political stakeholders and community partners
- Support clients in influencing decision-making processes and stakeholder relationships
- Lead or contribute to new business pitches and growth opportunities
- Line manage and mentor junior colleagues
- Work closely with the Managing Director to support wider team development and agency growth
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional agency services that support client objectives
What you'll bring: We are looking for a confident, strategic and commercially aware communications professional with:
- Proven agency experience at Account Director or Senior Account Manager level
- Strong expertise in stakeholder engagement, PR and public affairs
- Knowledge of working with the Scottish Parliament and Local Authorities
- Experience managing multiple client accounts and priorities
- Strong business development and client-facing skills
- Excellent communication, leadership and relationship-building abilities
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Commercial awareness and understanding of agency operations
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
