Location: Midlands / South Birmingham

Type: Permanent – full-time (Mon to Friday 9am to 5pm)

Salary: £23,000 - £27,000 depending on experience

Summary: Do you want to join a friendly, fast-paced team handling property repairs from start to finish? Our client is looking for someone to liaise with policyholders, trades teams, contracts managers and insurers to ensure a smooth and efficient claim resolution.

Role: As a Claims Handler, you will be taking calls and logging new claims, updating full details on the system, keeping accurate records, booking in trades visits with the policyholder and working closely with the contracts manager to ensure SLA’s and KPI’s are met.

Experience: Our client is looking for someone who is experienced in claims handling / managing insurance claims (property repairs) or has worked in a reactive/responsive maintenance environment (ideally for a contractor). You will need excellent verbal & written communication skills and be confident in learning new systems. Organisation and prioritisation skills are also essential for this role. A driving licence/own transport is required to get to the office.

Location: The ideal Claims Handler will be based in or around the Bromsgrove, Longbridge, Alcester, Matchborough, Redditch, Alvechurch or Studley area to be able to commute to the office. You will need to have your own transport as the office is not easily accessible by public transport (there is free parking).

Salary: £23,000 - £27,000 depending on experience

28 days holiday (including bank holidays)

Monday to Friday (9am to 5pm)
