We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join the team at Dengie. This is not a “sit on a forklift all day” job. You’ll be working in a busy production environment moving bales, raw materials and finished goods across site in all weather conditions. It can be dusty, physical, fast-paced and during peak season the shifts are long.
You must be comfortable with:
- 12-hour day and night shifts.
- Weekend working during harvest/drying season.
- Working outdoors and in dusty environments.
- Drug & alcohol testing.
- Getting stuck in and helping the wider production team.
What we need:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence.
- At least 6 months forklift experience.
- Good attitude and reliability.
- Someone safety-conscious who can work as part of a team.
- Extra skills like telehandler or shunter experience are a bonus, but training can be provided.
