We are looking for candidates with exceptional customer service skills for this fantastic opportunity to join the PureGym Member Services Team. You will be answering membership queries via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Emails, LiveChat, Calls and more. At PureGym Member Services, we are responsible for answering member enquiries from all over the UK and USA. We want passionate candidates with exceptional customer service skills and a genuine interest in health and fitness.
Responsibilities
- Provide digital customer service support and high-quality member experience.
- Establish member needs and provide appropriate information or solutions – aim to offer a first contact resolution.
- Offer exceptional customer service, always exceeding customer expectations.
- Overcome customer concerns with a positive outcome.
- Pro-active in membership sales, retention and up-selling.
- Work towards KPIs and exceed targets.
- Maintain a professional attitude to promote a positive company image.
- Excellent knowledge of product offering, marketing campaigns, facilities and locations of PureGym sites.
- Attend and participate in any required company activities and training at the Leeds Head Office.
Requirements / Availability
- Applying candidates must have appropriate facilities to be able to work remotely including:
- A suitable Windows Laptop or PC that meets working from home standards including a camera and speaker/microphone to attend training and meetings.
- A suitable internet connection of at least 10 Mbps download speed and 1 Mbps upload speed for each person working from home.
- A suitable remote working environment workspace with functionality, light, sound and ergonomics.
Candidates must also be available to attend 2 weeks of training (Mon-Fri 9am-6pm) at the Leeds Head Office, LS2. Training will be paid in full.
Skills Required

Preferable Skills
- Excellent time-management, self-motivation and ability to work independently; experience in remote working may be beneficial.
- Strong written communication skills and a minimum 50 words per minute typing speed.
- Previous experience in Voice, Social Media or Digital Customer Service.
- A*-C in GCSE English (Equivalent or higher qualification).
Shift Pattern / Hours
- Part-Time and Full-Time options available.
- Full-Time - 40 hours per week, 5 fixed days per week. Daytime and evening shifts (until 10pm) available.
- Part-Time 20 hours per week, covering evenings and weekends (5pm-10pm). Applying candidates must be available evenings and weekends to fulfil current requirements.
- Permanent contracts.
