This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Site Manager based in Alconbury- PE28. The Site Manager will oversee daily construction operations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing construction teams
- Coordinating subcontractors
- Ensuring health and safety compliance
- Conducting site inspections
- Maintaining project documentation
- Fostering effective communication between all stakeholders
The scheme consists of 178 traditionally built homes ranging from 1‑bedroom apartments to 4‑bedroom detached homes.
Qualifications / Skills / Competencies:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in construction site management, project planning, and daily operational oversight
- Expertise in health and safety compliance
- Strong leadership, organisational, and team management skills
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders
- Ability to handle project documentation and maintain detailed records
- Relevant certifications in construction or site management preferred - SMSTS/CSCS
- Excellent knowledge of NHBC standards
