The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
48 HOURS per week – 3-day shift/Live in care, including nights (week days) £13.00 per hour. Personal assistant required, funded through a direct payment, to support a 59-year-old male as a live in care/support worker for 32 hours’ daytime support, plus 2-night (8 hours) support for a total of 48 hours per week. This is the equivalent of 3 day shifts.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support a fun, football enthusiastic individual to live safely within his own home as part of a life share set up. This role would require the right individual to provide overnight support to ensure the safety of the individual 24/7 and would include supporting the individual to undertake daily day to day tasks such as shopping, cooking and cleaning as well as supporting them to participate in social opportunities such as attending football matches, socialising in the local pub, attending the gym and visiting the theatre. This is a rewarding opportunity to support an individual to remain safe in their own home while also supporting them to explore their many hobbies and interests within the community.
Main Duties- To support the individual to access his hobbies and interests such as attending football matches, the theatre, attending the local pub, cinema etc.
- To complete everyday daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning and shopping.
- To access social activities and clubs within the community.
- To ensure the safety of individual while completing day to day tasks.
- Medication prompts.
- To provide companionship.
- Access to own vehicle and driving licence.
- 5.6 weeks’ holiday per year (pro-rata).
- Sick pay at SSP rate (if applicable).
- Access to training.
- Mileage support available.
- Free DBS check.
