This is a unique opportunity to join a progressive team who are committed to meeting our responsibility to recycle more in Denbighshire. The successful candidate will need to be a strong team player, who demonstrates positive behaviour and has a flexible approach to work.
The waste collection team is responsible for all recycling and non-recyclable waste collection from residential properties. The post is physically demanding and therefore a good standard of fitness is required (collection rounds can involve walking 10 miles a day and the movement and lifting of recycling containers presented by residents for collection). The willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions is essential. It will be necessary to work flexible hours including some weekends and bank holidays.
