Assistant Care Broker

Location: Agile/Rhyl • Salary: Grade 5, £27,694 – £30,024 per annum • Hours: 37 per week • Contract: Permanent • Closing Date: 3rd November 2025

Responsibilities

• Work with the Adult Social Care and Homelessness Services Care Broker, other Assistant Care Brokers, the wider Contracts and Commissioning Team, and other key partners.
• Support in negotiating and securing appropriate packages of domiciliary care for individual citizens.
• Identify appropriate residential care options for individual citizens, in line with individual needs and wishes as specified by appropriate social care/health professionals.
• Build relationships and maintain effective and open communication with care providers to support service delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong affinity with the values of social care, including a non-judgemental attitude and empathy for people who have experienced social care/support needs.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and partners.
• Appointment subject to satisfactory references.
