Denbies Wine Estate, one of England’s largest vineyards, is currently recruiting for an experienced and knowledgeable Wine Tour Guide, to run our winery tour and bespoke wine tour.
As a Wine Tour Guide, you will be responsible for leading visitors through our vineyards and winery, providing them with an engaging and informative experience. Your role will involve educating guests about our wines, the winemaking process, and the history of our vineyard. You will conduct tastings, answer questions, and ensure that guests have an enjoyable and memorable visit.
Responsibilities:- Lead tours of our vineyard and winery, providing guests with a comprehensive understanding of our wines and winemaking process.
- Conduct tastings, guiding guests through the sensory experience of our wines, and explaining the characteristics of each varietal.
- Share knowledge of wine production techniques, grape varieties, and the unique features of the vineyard.
- Provide a warm welcome on behalf of Denbies to all visitors and customers.
- Maintain cleanliness of the Cellar tasting area.
- Good communication skills, confident, professional team player.
- Experience in a similar role and knowledge of wine is essential.
