The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, calibration and repair of specialist equipment at customer sites. Responsibilities: Carry out planned preventative maintenance, calibration and repair of equipment at customer sites. Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for customers. Provide technical support both on site and remotely. Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records. Maintain tools, test equipment and vehicle stock levels. Field Service Engineer
Requirements: Electrical, electronic engineering or scientific background with a recognised qualification to a minimum of an HNC or higher qualification. Experience working in a field service or maintenance environment. Previous experience within laboratory instrumentation or similar is highly desirable. Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills. IT literate. Full, clean UK driving licence. Flexible approach with a willingness to travel and stay away from home occasionally. Field Service Engineer
