I have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Hydraulic Service Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering organisation based in Portland, Dorset. This role is ideal for someone with a strong hydraulic and mechanical background who is looking for a varied position combining workshop-based work with customer site visits, supporting maintenance, repair and installation of hydraulic systems.
The role will involve working both in the workshop and on customer sites, with occasional overnight stays away from home required to support business needs. Hydraulic Service Engineer Requirements:- Strong hands-on experience working with hydraulic systems, including fault finding, maintenance and repair.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Strong experience working with hydraulic systems including pumps, valves, cylinders and hoses.
- Ability to fault find, diagnose and repair hydraulic and mechanical systems.
- Experience working on plant, machinery or industrial equipment.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach with a willingness to learn.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to travel.
