I have a fantastic opportunity for a military trained mechanical engineer in and around Maidstone, Ashford, Cranbrook Kent who is seeking to become an Engineer Surveyor. My client values ex-military engineers and many of their existing engineers come from the military. The successful Engineer Surveyor will join my client's successful Nationwide business, visiting customer sites to complete inspections, examinations and surveys on engineering equipment including, but not limited to cranes, lifting equipment and pressurised systems. You will work Monday to Friday with occasional overnights away from home, in return you will earn an attractive salary, company car, and benefits including ongoing training, development and qualifications.
Engineer Surveyor Requirements:
- Must live in or close to Maidstone, Ashford, Cranbrook Kent
- Hold a minimum of an NVQ level 3 (mechanical engineering)
- A demonstrable background in mechanical engineering.
- Ability to learn new engineering solutions and disciplines.
- Knowledge in cranes or lifting equipment would be beneficial.
- Strong communicator as this is a customer facing role.
- Flexibility around travel to suit business needs.
- Full UK driving licence.
