Our client is a well established, family run manufacturing business, supplying products across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their on site engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable organisation with a strong reputation and low staff turnover. You will be part of a small, close knit maintenance team responsible for keeping production machinery running efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance across a range of production machinery.
  • Respond to breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
  • Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective repairs.
  • Work as part of a small maintenance team to support production operations.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards.
  • Assist with continuous improvement activities where required.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical engineering background with a strong hands on approach.
