Are you confident speaking in front of groups and able to keep people engaged and motivated? We are recruiting for a Safety Instructor to join a well-established training provider delivering safety and survival based courses within the renewable energy sector. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with a strong personality, good communication skills and a professional approach who is looking to move into, or further develop, a rewarding instructional career. Previous wind industry experience is not essential as full training can be provided.

The Role:

Deliver classroom and practical training courses including: First Aid, Sea Survival, Working at Heights, Manual Handling. You will deliver engaging and professional training while maintaining a safe and positive learning environment for delegates.

What We're Looking For:

  • Confident communicator with strong presentation skills
  • Previous training, coaching or instructional experience would be advantageous
  • Professional and organised approach
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Physically fit due to practical training activities
  • Willing to undertake DBS clearance
  • Teaching or instructional qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential

This role would suit candidates from a variety of backgrounds including the Armed Forces (Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force), training, health safety, emergency response, offshore, construction and utilities.
