I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client for a Plant Supervisor to join a well-established and growing business operating within the renewable energy and processing sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who can motivate teams, drive operational performance and ensure the safe and efficient running of a busy processing facility.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the site, leading operational teams, ensuring production targets are achieved and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the processing plant.
Manage and motivate operational teams to ensure safe and efficient site performance.
- Coordinate staffing and resources to maximise production and operational efficiency.
- Conduct team meetings, 1-to-1s and performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental and company procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
- Monitor plant performance and work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to minimise downtime.
- Coordinate contractors and visitors, ensuring safe systems of work are followed.
- Assist with budget control and cost management.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene and site compliance.
- Produce operational reports and maintain accurate records. Plant Supervisor Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Plant Supervisor, Production Supervisor, Operations Supervisor or similar leadership role.
- Background within Anaerobic Digestion, waste processing, manufacturing, production or another industrial process environment.
- Proven experience leading, motivating and developing operational teams.
- Strong organisational, planning and resource management skills.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- Good IT skills with experience using Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety and environmental compliance.
- IOSH qualification desirable.
