I am recruiting for my client, a well established engineering business specialising in the supply, installation and support of highly technical electronic equipment throughout the UK.
Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a
Workshop Electronics Engineer to join their team based in Poulton le Fylde.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ex military engineer with a strong electronics background looking to join a growing business where you will receive full product training and work on a wide range of specialist electronic systems.
The role is predominantly workshop based with occasional travel to customer sites to support installations, commissioning and technical projects.

Workshop Electronics Engineer
Responsibilities: Diagnose, fault find and repair specialist electronic equipment.
Test, inspect and commission equipment prior to customer delivery.
Provide telephone and remote technical support to customers.
Support customer installations, upgrades and technical projects when required.
Participate in the out of hours technical support rota once fully trained.
Workshop Electronics Engineer
Requirements: Proven electronics engineering experience with a minimum of Level 3 qualification or above in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline.
Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience working with electronic systems, circuit boards, power supplies and software controlled equipment.
Ability to install, configure and update software.
Good IT skills with experience using Windows based operating systems.
Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites when required.
