Based in Haverfordwest, I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client for an Apprenticeship Coordinator supporting Armed Forces apprentices undertaking digital apprenticeship programmes.

You will play a key role in delivering learning, carrying out progress reviews and providing ongoing coaching and mentoring to help apprentices successfully complete their qualifications.

This role offers an excellent work life balance with Monday to Friday working, generous annual leave and an extended Christmas stand down, giving you approximately two weeks off over the festive period without using your annual leave entitlement.

Apprenticeship Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Deliver teaching, learning and assessment for digital apprenticeship programmes.
  • Conduct regular learner progress reviews and plan meaningful learning activities.
  • Support apprentices throughout their learning journey, providing coaching, mentoring and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate learner records and update digital learning platforms.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure learners successfully progress through Gateway and achieve their qualification.
  • Promote learner engagement and identify any additional support requirements.

Apprenticeship Coordinator Requirements

  • Experience within telecommunications, communications, network engineering or a related technical discipline would be advantageous.
  • An ex-Royal Signals Electronic Warfare Systems Installer (EWSI) background would be highly advantageous.
  • Previous experience in coaching, mentoring, training or instructing others.
  • A teaching or assessor qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Confident using digital systems and maintaining accurate learner records.
  • A proactive approach with a genuine passion for supporting learner development.

Apprenticeship Coordinator Benefits

  • Salary £29,866 – £32,088 depending on experience.
  • Monday to Friday – 37 hours.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Approximately two weeks' Christmas stand down without using your annual leave entitlement.
