I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire who have an immediate requirement for an Engineering Team Leader to join their team at their engineering facility. The successful Engineering Team Leader will lead a small engineering team ensuring reliability and maintenance of the equipment onsite. Please note most of the work is outdoors, therefore candidates must be open to working in this environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ex-military engineer with a mechanical engineering bias, looking for job security. You will be joining a company operating in a niche industry with the opportunity to learn new skills. There are no shifts with this role, you will work Monday to Friday although you will participate in an on call rota to which you will receive an attractive callout allowance. Interested candidates are encouraged to make an early application.
Engineering Team Leader Requirements:- Hold a minimum of Level 3 in a mechanical engineering discipline.
- Strong hands on mechanical engineering background with the ability to fault find and solve problems.
- Experience within a leadership/supervisory capacity.
- Basic electrical skills, able to fault find using test equipment and safely isolate equipment.
- Self-motivated, hardworking with a can-do attitude.
- Able to participate in an on call rota.
- Basic salary £47,000 - £50,000 DOE.
- Callout allowance circa £5K per annum.
- Monday to Friday (42.5 hours) 7.30am 4.30pm.
- 25 days plus including bank holidays.
- Pension scheme.
