Our client is a well established, family run manufacturing business, supplying products across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their on site engineering team. You will be part of a small, close knit maintenance team responsible for keeping production machinery running efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance across a range of production machinery.
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective repairs.
- Work as part of a small maintenance team to support production operations.
Requirements:
- Mechanical engineering background with a strong hands on approach.
- Level 2 qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience carrying out maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Flexible and proactive attitude.
Benefits:
- Salary £40,000 - £42,000 depending on experience.
- Overtime payable.
- Working hours Monday to Friday, 7am 5pm.
- Overtime available.
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays.
