I am recruiting for my client, a global technology business specialising in the installation, maintenance and support of specialist equipment. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a Field Service Technician to support customers across the South Coast, covering areas including Brighton, Worthing, Poole and Bournemouth – candidates must live in or close to these locations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical or engineering background who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and working independently. Full product training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity to build a career within a specialist technology sector. In return you will benefit from: Salary of up to £34,000 DOE. Friendly and supportive team. * Field Service Technician Responsibilities: * Attend customer sites across your designated region carrying out inspections, servicing, fault finding and repairs on specialist equipment. * Diagnose faults and resolve technical issues efficiently. * Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs. * Ensure equipment remains operational and meets customer expectations. * Manage your own workload whilst working independently. * Complete service reports and associated documentation. * Deliver a high standard of customer service and represent the business professionally at all times. Field Service Technician Requirements. * Technical or engineering background with basic electrical fault finding experience. * Practical approach to problem solving. * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Ability to work independently and manage your own workload. * Keen to learn new products and technologies. * Full UK driving licence. * Flexible approach to regional travel.
