Are you leaving your military engineering career, ideally looking to join a company who employs ex-military already, who values your training and skillset? I am currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join my client’s growing business covering the Andover, Oxford, Northampton, Leicester and Nottingham areas.
The successful Field Service Engineer will travel to customer sites carrying out service, maintenance and installations on a range of mobile processing equipment. Please note, although the role is working Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm, flexibility is needed to ensure work is completed to high standards. You will also be required to work away from home if needed. Once trained, you will also join the call out rota which is currently 2 weeks every 10 weeks; in return, you will receive additional payments and expenses paid.
Requirements:
- Must hold a minimum Electrical or Mechanical Level 3 Qualification.
- Proven background as a hands-on engineer, working on a range of mechanical/electrical equipment.
- PLC fault finding experience beneficial.
- 3 phase experience & 18th edition beneficial.
- Willingness to learn.
- Happy to work away from home when required.
- Be able to join call out rota (2 weeks every 10 weeks).
- IT literate.
- Hold full and clean UK driving licence.
