I am very pleased to say I am currently supporting a well-known Northeast company for an electrically biased Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their manufacturing team based in South Shields, Tyne & Wear. Working Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for all breakdowns, repairs, service, maintenance, PPM, and installations across the business. Please note, once you have completed your probationary period and are fully competent, you will join a call out rota to support the manufacturing site.
Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
- Must have completed a recognised apprenticeship program and hold an Electrical qualification to level 3 as a minimum.
- Hold 18th Edition – beneficial.
- Proven experience working on 3 phase systems, high/low voltage controls and have strong electrical fault finding and diagnostic experience.
- Hold strong mechanical engineering skills with the ability to work with drives, pumps, motors, hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical engineering diagrams and schematics.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence.
Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Benefits:
- Salary £36,545.
