I am excited to partner with a leading brand who have a vacancy for a Shift Electrical Engineer in their beautiful rural location of Bala, Gwynedd. The successful Shift Electrical Engineer will work as part of a team and will be responsible for all planned and reactive maintenance on site. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ex-military engineer to join a long established family run growing company. The role offers variety and autonomy with the opportunity to develop and gain additional skills.
Shift Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:- Carry out the planned preventative maintenance of the engineering plant, machinery and building.
- Attend breakdowns and carry out fault finding and diagnostics ensuring equipment is in working order.
- Carry out repairs to plant and equipment during production, machines include conveyors, mixers and depositors.
- Conduct improvement work on the machinery and site.
- Hold Level 3 qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Ideally you will hold 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- IT literate with knowledge of MS Office and maintenance management systems.
- Ability to understand mechanical and electrical engineering diagrams.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- The salary is £46,000 per annum.
- Rotational 8-week shift pattern consisting of days and nights, 4 on 4 off.
- Overtime payable.
- 24 days holiday per annum.
