Join to apply for the Philanthropy & Partnerships Executive (Philanthropy) role at Dementia UK.
Location: hybrid – a minimum of one day in the Aldgate, London office per week
Hours of work: 37.5 hours
Contract: Permanent, full time
Interview date: First stage – 23rd January (MS Teams)
Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing and prospective major donors, delivering bespoke stewardship and timely fundraising asks.
- Support the wider philanthropy programme by coordinating special events, ensuring robust processes, and leading on administrative aspects that underpin the success of the team.
- Develop prospect research skills and contribute to identifying new supporters to help grow the programme.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Philanthropy and Partnerships to support engagement activities and contribute to collaborative projects that strengthen processes and enhance donor experiences.
- Plan and deliver cultivation events, manage data and reporting, and ensure all activity is insight-led, compliant, and aligned with strategic objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience delivering fundraising or relationship management projects, ideally with a philanthropy focus (not essential).
- Comfort using data to inform decisions and improve supporter journeys.
- Highly organised with excellent communication skills across a range of audiences.
- Ability to build long-term, meaningful relationships and use insights to identify opportunities and make recommendations.
