Are you a natural relationship builder with a passion for making a difference? Demelza is looking for an enthusiastic Area Fundraising Executive to help drive income growth and inspire communities to support our vital work with children and families.
In this dynamic role, you’ll work closely with the Area Fundraising Manager to deliver impactful fundraising activity, spark new opportunities and empower supporters—from schools and community groups to local businesses and volunteers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting fundraising activity to meet income targets and KPIs
- Building strong relationships with supporters and volunteers
- Identifying new fundraising opportunities and partnerships
- Delivering engaging talks and presentations
- Providing excellent stewardship and ensuring accurate CRM records
- Representing Demelza at events, including some evenings and weekends
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in fundraising or transferable skills from the charity sector
- Outstanding communication and relationship management abilities
- Confidence in public speaking and engaging diverse audiences
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle priorities
- Good IT skills, including CRM experience
- A proactive, motivated approach
